Join SheChef and GRLSQUASH for an afternoon on women + food writing at the Canopy Room in Bow Market. SheChef Founder Elle Scott will be joined by GRLSQUASH Founder Madison Trapkin to moderate a panel of Boston-based women food writers featuring Afton Cyrus of America's Test Kitchen and other special guests.
The panel discussion will include an interactive element as attendees are invited to fill out their Diary -- a food writer's workbook created specially for GRLS -- with guided reflicitons and prompts throughout the program.
Following the panel, food vendors will be set up with brunch-y goodies and complimentary coffee, so come hungry! Attendees will also recieve a curated gift bag with selected items from SheChef, GRLSQUASH, Overseasoned, + more.
SheChef is a professional networking organization for food entrepreneurs, aspiring and seasoned chefs and other professionals working in the food and beverage industry. With a special focus on women of color, SheChef aims to bridge the gender and race gap in the culinary industry. Beyond providing hands-on learning experiences in the kitchen, SheChef teaches professionals about the business behind culinary arts and provides information on the latest scholarships, internships and job opportunities for women to reach their full potential.
