For the 2019 New York edition, Food Book Fair is leaning all the way into our signature, fan favorite event — the magazine festival within the fair, previously known as Foodieodicals — with a weekend-long pop up in partnership with Smorgasburg + the Brooklyn Flea. It all goes down Saturday March 2nd - Sunday March 3rd at Atlantic Center (625 Atlantic Ave., between Gap and Party City, across from Barclays Center).
Food Book Fair launched in 2012 as the first event of its kind: part festival, part conference, set at the intersection of food culture and food systems. Dubbed the "Coachella of writing about eating," "a voracious reader's dream," and "food geek heaven," our event remains ceaselessly inspired by food media — books, yes, but also magazines, television, film and radio. Our dynamic programming also includes screenings, dinners, workshops and much more. We're nerdy, yet cool; forward-thinking, yet historically aware. We're Food Book Fair.
